Shipping policy

 

SEW BY SEW ships to all 50 States and APO/FPO addresses. Orders originating from U.S. territories and APO/FPO addresses will be shipped by USPS or UPS. Most orders are processed in 3-14 business days. Please allow 1-7 business days for ground shipments to arrive once it has left our facility.

 

USPS does deliver to PO Boxes. USPS does not make deliveries on the weekend and all major United States national holidays.

 

If your order is marked as “Delivered” but you don’t see it, please check with your local post office (not the USPS hotline)/customs office, or leasing office/mailroom if applicable. Some USPS delivery vans are equipped with GPS that will prematurely mark a package as delivered, even though it may not show up for another day or two.


Unfortunately, if your item is marked as “Delivered” and you are unable to locate it, we are unable to refund your order or replace the merchandise in your order. Please contact the postal service either via telephone or online in order to file a claim. Priority shipping comes insured, and the postal service is liable for misdelivered or stolen packages in most cases.


Sew by Sew  is  not liable for merchandise that has been misdelivered or stolen from the property. Once a package leaves our facility, we only have the Tracking information that customers are also provided. If it is marked as “Delivered,” it is assumed that the customer has received their merchandise. Please refer to the information above.


Sometimes a package is marked as “Delivered” with the note below it stating “Delivered, To Original Sender.” This means that your package was forwarded back to our facility. This could be due to a mistake in your address, a failed delivery attempt, or an issue with customs if it is an international package. If this occurs, we will refund the items in your order, but NOT the shipping cost. You will receive an email informing you that your order items are being refunded. If you have any further 

 

INTERNATIONAL

During checkout, select your country from the drop-down menu for specific pricing. Note, we cannot ship to international P.O. boxes.

 

Please be advised that due to customs restrictions some items cannot be shipped to certain countries. When this is the case you will see a message reading “No shipping quotes are available at this time”.

Orders shipped outside of the U.S. may take an additional 3-9 business days for processing depending on when your order is received at the UPS i-Parcel Facility.

 

International Shipping Duties and Taxes

Duties and taxes will be calculated at checkout and MUST be paid in advance (prior to leaving our facility for shipping).

 

Duty, customs tariffs and VAT are set by the local government and determined based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the goods being purchased, and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a system adopted and used by the local government.

 

The amount of applicable duty, tariffs and taxes will vary based on the product ordered and the specific rates set by the local government. With UPS i-parcel DDP (Delivered Duties Paid), UPS i-Parcel will collect the amount of any applicable import duties and taxes during checkout. No extra fees will need to be paid when your order is delivered.
